Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius Day Trip from Rome by Coach, with Archaeologist and Lunch

The route here runs down the Highway of the Sun by coach, with an English-speaking tour leader who deals with the lines and tickets so the group goes straight in. Inside Pompeii, an archaeologist takes over and walks the preserved streets, houses, baths, food shops and outdoor theaters.

Lunch is at a local restaurant overlooking the Bay of Naples and Capri: pizza, an appetizer and dessert.
