Private Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius Tour with Vineyard Lunch and Wine Tasting
A cameo workshop opens the day, before the group even reaches the ruins: artisans carve traditional jewelry by hand. Then comes Pompeii, the city frozen by the eruption of 79 AD, with a specialized guide leading through a temple, a market, an ancient shop, a villa, a bathhouse, the theater and the Forum.
The drive then climbs the slopes of Mount Vesuvius for views over the Bay of Naples and an explanation of the volcano's past. The day ends at a local vineyard, where the volcanic soil gives the wines their character, with lunch and a curated tasting.
Two options are sold: a private driver with tickets, or a private driver with guide and tickets. Pompeii tickets are issued in the names of the travelers, so full names and dates of birth are required at booking.
