Private Pompeii and Herculaneum Tour with Fast-Track Tickets and Optional Winery Lunch
Two buried Roman cities in one private day, with skip-the-line tickets and a professional guide for both. Pompeii and Herculaneum were covered by the same eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, and seeing them back to back shows how differently each one survived.
The day has an optional third stop: a wine tasting and traditional lunch at Cantina del Vesuvio, a winery with views of Mount Vesuvius that makes organic wines from the volcanic soil. It is an add-on, so it only happens if it is selected when booking.
Pickup and drop-off are arranged at your hotel or at the port, and the return to the ship is covered by Viator's worry-free policy. The pickup time and location, plus a flight or train number if relevant, go into the special requirements box at booking.
