Two famous places in one port day, with no group to keep pace with. The driver meets the passengers at the cruise terminal at 8:00 am and drives a private air-conditioned minivan; an English-speaking driver covers the Amalfi Coast and a private local guide takes over in Pompeii.

The morning of the tour, the driver says whether Pompeii or the coast comes first, depending on weather, traffic and the day's schedule. On the coast the stops are Positano or Sorrento, with free time for photos of the panorama. At Pompeii the guide waits at the site, the line at the ticket office is skipped, and the walk covers Via dell’Abbondanza, the Forum, the Stabian Baths, the Lupanar and the theatres.

Lunch and gratuities are not included. Driver and guide time the day so the group is back at the ship on schedule.
