Pompeii, Vesuvius Crater Walk and Casa Setaro Winery Lunch from the Amalfi Coast

Three stops, with hotel pickup and return arranged by Enjoy Pompeii in an air-conditioned vehicle. The day starts in Pompeii with a 2-hour private guided walk through the western part of the city, moves up Mount Vesuvius for a walk toward the crater, and finishes at a winery on the volcano's slopes for lunch and a tasting.

In Pompeii the guide, an archaeologist, stops at the Basilica, the Forum, the thermal baths, a bakery and some residential houses. On Vesuvius the walk begins at the square at 1,000 meters above sea level and follows the Gran Cono path to the crater, with views of the Gulf of Naples.

The winery is Casa Setaro in Trecase, inside the Vesuvius National Park, which has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1995. Skip-the-line entry is included, and so are the tickets for Pompeii and Vesuvius. A moderate level of fitness is needed for the crater path.
