Pompeii, Positano and Amalfi Coast Small-Group Coach Day Trip from Rome
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
RomeThis is the long version of the Rome-to-Pompeii run: a small-group coach day that leaves Piazza del Popolo, includes skip-the-line entry to Pompeii with a 2-hour guided visit, and gives two free hours in Positano. Positano is hard to reach by public transport, which is the case for doing it by coach.
Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast and Positano are all UNESCO World Heritage listings. The guide leads the walk through the ruins, and the coast road south of Pompeii supplies the views that follow.
It is a full day with a lot of road, with a coffee stop at Cassino each way and a return to central Rome expected around 8:30 PM. The walking is substantial, so the trip is not suited to travelers with mobility impairments.
