Pompeii and Herculaneum Small-Group Day Trip from Naples with Tickets and Lunch Option
Two options are sold under one listing: the day with lunch, or without it. Both include pickup and drop-off in Naples, the entrance fees for Pompeii and Herculaneum and a local guide, with archaeologist guides leading the walks.
Each site has its own guide, who meets the group at the entrance. Pompeii takes about two hours inside and Herculaneum about an hour and a half. At Herculaneum the guide compares the site with Pompeii, since both show excavated alleyways and homes frozen by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The optional Italian light lunch comes after Pompeii.
A minimum of two travelers applies from April to October and four from November to March.
