The day starts with a driver and guide collecting the group from the nearest meeting point, then a drive along the Sorrento coast with views over the Bay of Naples. The bus is air-conditioned, and the return to Sorrento is planned for about 1:30 pm.

At Pompeii an authorized local guide leads a two-hour visit to the excavations, covering the main public monuments, the Forum and some of the houses. Skip-the-line tickets and headsets are part of the booking. Once the guided part ends there is a little free time before the bus leaves.
