Naples and Pompeii Guided Coach Tour with Posillipo Viewpoint and Hotel Pickup
This one covers two places that are usually sold separately: the center of Naples first, then the ruins of Pompeii after a drive by shared air-conditioned coach. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, and so are the Pompeii entrance ticket and headsets for hearing the guide.
In Naples the stops are the cathedral, with its treasure chapel and the basilica of Santa Restituta, a terrace at the church of Sant'Antonio in Posillipo for the view over the bay, and Piazza del Plebiscito. At Pompeii, billed as the largest archaeological site in Europe, the guide walks the ruins and explains the 79 AD eruption of Vesuvius.
A minimum of 2 participants is needed for the tour to run. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
