Private Pompeii Tour Off the Beaten Path with Official Guide and Customisable Route

The route here is not fixed. The itinerary is customised to the group, whether that means children in tow, a preference for long walks or a keen interest in archaeology. Guests with that last interest can ask about the newly opened areas of the site.

An official guide leads the group away from the usual paths to houses, shops, thermal baths and the Forum, which is surrounded by temples and public buildings. Along the way come near-intact frescoes and mosaics and the plaster casts of the eruption's victims, all of it tied back to daily life in ancient Pompeii.
