Private Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii Day Tour from Naples or Salerno
Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii fit into one day by private transport from Naples or Salerno, in an air-conditioned vehicle with parking fees covered. The minimum is four people, and what Pompeii looks like depends on the group: a licensed guide for 12 or more, an audio guide for up to 8. The Pompeii entrance ticket and lunch are not included.
The coast comes first, with a photo stop at Meta di Sorrento, 111 meters above sea level, and views toward Capri, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. The route also lists the Li Galli islands, a small archipelago between Capri and Positano. Positano brings alleys, boutiques and craft shops, then Sorrento's historic center adds the cathedral, Baroque churches and the Cloister of San Francesco, with limoncello as the local drink to try. Pompeii closes the route.
Pickup points cover both cities: Molo Manfredi in Salerno's port, and Piazza Dante and Via Galileo Ferraris in Naples. The driver waits at most 20 minutes.

Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Pompeii began as an Oscan settlement, was later inhabited by the Samnites and was conquered by the Romans from the first century BC. Lava and ash from Vesuvius buried it in 79 AD and kept it intact. The remaining time on the day goes to the round trip and to moving between sites.
