Private 3-Hour Pompeii Tour with an Archaeologist Guide and Skip-the-Line Option
Pompeii is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest archaeological sites in the world. This private three-hour walk is led by an archaeologist from a team that has worked on the site for years, and the stories it comes with are the ones that do not turn up in guidebooks or online.
The route runs from Porta Marina Superiore to Porta Marina Inferiore and takes in the theatres, temples, houses with their frescoes and mosaics, the thermal baths, shops, a street-food counter, the Forum, the court of justice, the Macellum and the brothel.
Skipping the ticket-office queue is possible on request, arranged in advance, and a link for buying entrance tickets ahead of time is provided. Entrance itself is paid separately.
