Fifteen people at most share this two-hour walk, led by a guide trained in archaeology and art history who talks through the customs and traditions of the ancient Romans. Tickets are booked for a set time, and the confirmation works only with the guide: it is not an admission ticket on its own.

The route starts with the gymnasium, the palestra where gladiators trained, then moves through the theatres, bakeries, restaurants, laundries and shops. Visitors go inside the House of Menander and the baths, pass the Lupanariae, the red-light district, and finish in the Forum.
