This is a private tour of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples with an expert licensed guide, in English, Italian or French. The museum entrance ticket is bought separately.

The Vesuvian collections hold what was dug out of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae: mosaics, frescoes, sculptures and objects of daily life. The Farnese collection, inherited in the 18th century by the Bourbons of Naples, is the most important of the Italian Renaissance collections of antiquities. It includes the Farnese Bull, the Farnese Hercules and the Tazza Farnese, the largest engraved gem from antiquity.

Greco-Roman sculpture from Campania and the legends attached to the finds fill out the two hours.
