Paestum has three Doric temples, the Temple of Neptune, the Temple of Ceres and the Basilica, among the better preserved Greek buildings in Southern Italy. On this private tour an archaeologist walks the group through that 2,500-year-old religious architecture, and admission to both the park and the museum is included.

The second half moves indoors, to the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum. It holds the elements that once decorated the temples and some of the finest painted tombs in Campania, among them the Tomb of the Diver.
