Paestum Archaeological Park Guided Tour with Archaeologist and Museum Entry

An archaeologist guides this two-hour walk through Paestum, the Greco-Roman settlement listed as a World Heritage Site and once a city of Magna Graecia. Admission to the park and to the museum is included.

The group gathers at the Basilica Paleocristiana dell'Annunziata at the scheduled time. The first stops are the temples of Neptune and Hera, known for their Doric columns, followed by more ruins including the amphitheatre and the Temple of Athena, with the myths tied to the site told along the way.

The tour finishes at the Paestum Archaeological Museum, where the collection from the ancient Greek city includes the Tomb of the Diver. The guide then leaves the group, and visitors can stay in the museum as long as they like.
