Naples Walking Tour: Old Town, Neapolis Sotterrata Ruins and Optional Lunch
The main stop is underground: a guided visit of the Roman ruins beneath San Lorenzo Maggiore, about 45 minutes with entrance included. Around it, the guide leads a walk from Piazza Municipio past Castel Nuovo, Teatro di San Carlo, Galleria Umberto I and Piazza del Plebiscito.
From there the route follows Via Toledo into the historic center, which is UNESCO-listed, then through the craft shops of Via San Gregorio Armeno and along Via dei Tribunali, where the ruins sit. It finishes in Piazza Bellini and Piazza del Gesù Nuovo.
The standard walk lasts 3 hours. An extended option adds a local meal: caprese, pasta, tiramisu and a glass of house wine. On that option the tour ends after lunch.

The walk starts with Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino), Teatro di San Carlo and Galleria Umberto I, then crosses Piazza Trieste e Trento to Piazza del Plebiscito. It continues along Via Toledo into the historic center, through Via San Gregorio Armeno and Via dei Tribunali. A guided visit of the underground Roman ruins at San Lorenzo Maggiore takes about 45 minutes, entrance included. The route ends in Piazza Bellini and Piazza del Gesù Nuovo.

Available only on the option that includes lunch. The menu is caprese salad (mozzarella and tomato), spaghetti with tomato sauce or pasta carbonara, tiramisu, one glass of house wine and one bottle of water. The tour ends after lunch.
