This skip-the-line ticket gets visitors into the official Naples Underground tour, and a guided tour comes with it. A pizza after the tour is an optional extra.

The route goes 40 metres below the streets of the historic centre, into the yellow tufa the city was built from. The walls carry the marks of every period, from the foundation of Neapolis to the bombs of World War II, so the 1.5 hours cover about 2,400 years.

Entry is at Piazza San Gaetano 68, near Via dei Tribunali. English tours run at 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm, and the entrance staff can confirm the timing. The route is not recommended for anyone claustrophobic.
