Naples Archaeological Museum Small Group Tour with Archaeologist and Entry Ticket
Askos Tours runs this museum visit as a small group, up to 15 travellers, led by a local guide who is also an archaeologist. Guiding is in English or Italian, and museum admission is included.
The Farnese Collection comes first: statues of Hercules, the two Tyrannicides, the Toro Farnese group, statues of gods and busts of emperors. Then come the finds from the cities destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, including some of the best-preserved frescoes and mosaics from Pompeii and Herculaneum.

The guide meets the group at the museum ticket office. The route covers the Farnese Collection, with its Hercules statues, the two Tyrannicides, the Toro Farnese group, gods and emperors, then the artifacts, frescoes and mosaics from Pompeii and Herculaneum.
