Discover Scuba Diving in Baia Submerged Park for Beginners aged 10 and over
This first-dive program is for people without a diving certification, and it is open to children from 10 years and to adults. A dedicated instructor stays beside each participant for the whole dive. A certificate of participation comes with it, valid as the first dive of a PADI Open Water course anywhere in the world.
Before arrival, participants receive a medical form, used to judge whether an examination is needed before diving, and a short e-learning. On site, a theory lesson covers the basics of diving, the equipment and how to behave in the water. The dive lasts about 45 minutes in the Submerged Park of Baia, where the route decides what appears: statues, colored mosaics or black and white mosaics among the structures of a Roman town that emperors and senators loved and that bradyseism in the Phlegraean Fields later sank.
Divers with a preference for one of the park's routes can say so in advance, and the center will try to schedule it.
