Caserta Royal Palace Private 2-Hour Walking Tour with Skip-the-Line Tickets
A private guide takes the group through the Royal Palace of Caserta in two hours, with skip-the-line tickets. Luigi Vanvitelli designed the palace, and it is the biggest royal palace in Europe, comparable in splendour to Versailles.
King Charles III of Bourbon commissioned it because he wanted a residence that could stand beside the large courts of the rest of Europe. Visitors with an interest in Italian art will find paintings and other works along the route. The English Gardens are not part of the visit.
