Campi Flegrei Full-Day Guided Bike Tour from Naples: Lakes, Baia and Solfatara

This is a full day on two wheels across the Campi Flegrei, the volcanic area west of Naples. The route climbs hills, circles lakes and stops at Roman sites, and the bike is provided at the start. The idea is to show a side of Naples that rarely makes it onto the usual itinerary.

The ride is not for beginners. The operator asks for a good cyclist with some years of experience who is comfortable on open roads, though a professional is not required. Dress for the weather and carry a light backpack with a jacket in it.

Along the way the group rides to the Parco Virgiliano viewpoint, through Pozzuoli, around Lake Avernus, past the Baia thermal baths, on to Bacoli and Monte di Procida, and up to the Solfatara volcano. Lunch is not included.
